Welcome to Pearl Seekers
Change in Direction for Pearl Seekers' Project

Considering the various approaches we have tried, or considered, we feel the need for a new direction for the web aspect of the Pearl Seekers' Project. The sharing of stories, experiences, feelings, along with thoughts flowing from those, is seen by us as very significant. Such sharing is very important for the Pearl Seekers' desire to search together for meaning, for a relevant spirituality, for some sense of connection with what could be termed Ultimate Reality, Mystery, Spirit.

The importance of meeting face to face in groups has been more and more realised by those of us working on the project. While not exactly face to face groups, we are currently setting up small private groups in our "Sharing in Online Conversations - Forums" which can be clicked on from the Main Menu on the left hand side of this page.. Our hope is that this will allow people to get to know each other in a less public setting and encourage a deeper and more relational way of using a Forum. If the members of a particular group live close enough to each other then on occasions they could arrange to meet face to face.

The people in these private groups will be the only ones to see their group come up when they access "Sharing in Online Conversations - Forums" from the Main Menu on this page. To see their group they will need to log in using their User Name and Password. Those not in a group, or guest visitors, will see a very plain Home Page on the Forum as the groups will be hidden from view.

We shall start small and see how things develop. For the time being the Web Master will assign interested people to a group. If the private group approach is successful we can take steps to expand the level of involvement and the way in which one can enter a group.

We invite you to send us your comments and suggestions about the future of this project by email using team@pearlseekers.com.au
